[He shifts a bit, then, disengaging his hand from where Jaeger's been holding onto it and pulling away, letting the other slide out of Jaeger's hair as he does so; it's been...easier while they've been discussing this, but now that he's had time to settle the whole thing is slowly starting to bother him again, that strange sense of disgust creeping back into him slowly, and he wants to break contact before he can think about it for too long.]

[Jaeger tries not to look too disappointed when Wesker pulls away; he understands why Wesker's having problems with this and it must be incredibly difficult. He settles back into his seat easily enough.]

Of course. I wouldn't want to make you too uncomfortable.

[He's quiet for a moment after that's out there, though. Considering.]

I don't like having to admit that I need help with anything. It's always been pointless doing that, anyway, in my experience.

But I do think I need your help with this. It's not something I know what to do with on my own.

It's difficult to ask for help, ja? I've never been fond of it either.

[He's never really found it pointless, but he thinks he understands anyway.]

I'll do everything I can to help you. I want to touch you again too.

You're welcome. I may not be able to understand precisely where you're coming from, but I'll always do my best to help. I really can't see the virus as a bad thing at all. I can't imagine what my life would be like without you in it and thankfully, I don't have to worry about that now.

[...he's probably going to worry anyway because he's just like that, but that's not the point.]

...I'm glad that it could bring me back to you, at least.

[He still isn't sure how he feels about it; he's still...very aware that his body is both dead and irreversibly fucked up. But he doesn't regret that much.]

I promised never to leave you alone; I intend to keep that promise.

[His gaze darts at that for a moment. He still has a hard time with the idea that Wesker died. Jaeger forces himself to look back at Wesker once he realizes he's glanced away.]

I worry about you, but I really do believe that you'll always be here for me.

Of course I will.

[And that's confident, at least, though he did notice it when Jaeger looked away; it's a bit hard not to.]

Are you all right?

I'm fine. It's just a bit hard to think about.

[He reaches up to toy with his bangs for a moment before he forces himself to stop.]

...I really am okay, though. I just get a bit anxious thinking about this, that's all.

[Again, he hesitates for a moment before reaching out; it isn't to take Jaeger's hand this time, but to try to pull him closer. Come here, all right.]

...It's all right. We don't have to.

[He hesitates a bit, about to ask if Wesker's sure, but Wesker wouldn't bother if he wasn't sure. So he moves a bit, closing the distance but not moving to fully lean on Wesker either.]

[He does notice the hesitation, and when he speaks it's quiet.]

...No, you can if you want to.

[It's fairly obvious what he's referring to; come here, Jaeger, it's okay.]

[Well, if you're certain...! He smiles at that before relaxing against Wesker.]

I'll move if you want me to.

[But it's probably pretty obvious from how easily he leans into this that he doesn't want to move.]

[In all honesty, he isn't certain, but he sounds it when he speaks, and he doesn't move as Jaeger settles.]

Don't worry about me; I'll be fine for now.

[It probably won't last long, but this is nice. He's really missed being able to be this close to Wesker.]

[It's light, though it's too gentle to be proper teasing.]

I always tell you not to, but I appreciate the fact that you do.

You're welcome, then! I'm trying not to worry as much, but that's a bit easier said than done.
