It has been a little much, hasn't it?

[He's tired and relieved to be back home even if it is just for the day.]

It has. It isn't as hard on me as it was last time, thankfully enough. But it is a bit much, yes.

[He hasn't had any sort of anxious breaks where he's needed to be away from people, and he's been speaking surprisingly well given how he usually responds to stress. But it's kind of been a lot.]

Last time was certainly worse overall. I'm glad this isn't a repeat of that.

It is! I would hate to imagine how much time I'd spend worrying if we weren't!

Even if it is tiring, at least things are easier this time. I'll still be happy when this is all over with, but at least it's not as bad as it could be!

[Ah... Well, that's to be expected. He moves then, putting space between himself and Wesker and settling in easily enough. He doesn't say anything about it; he doesn't feel the need to draw any more attention to it.]

That's certainly true! I'm not cut out for roughing it!

It's not as bad as it could have been, but it hasn't exactly been ideal...

That's very true. Things could have been a lot worse, but thankfully they've been manageable!

...Again, I'll try not to worry you when everyone splits off next time. I thought it preferable to not let the people with no sense of direction get lost and possibly attacked in the woods.

No, no, that's fair. I'd like to stick with you, but if we get separated again I'll do my best not to worry too much.

You really do have less reason to, nowadays.

[It's lighter than it usually is; maybe if he just...makes himself keep acknowledging it, it'll eventually become easier to handle.]

Perhaps after all of this is over, I can show you the powers I have now. I'm still getting used to them, but they've been interesting so far.

Well, there's the obvious extreme difficulty in getting injured, but outside of that my strength and speed both have been greatly enhanced. I don't know where the upper limits are on either, though I know abusing the speed isn't a terribly good idea, it does tire me out.

I could certainly pick you up with no difficulty were I to be so inclined, however. That would be incredibly easy.

It's not as though I would mind it.

There are some things that I still have to work out - I've done things in my memories where I'm not certain how I even got the idea in my head to try them in the first place, much less decided they were a good idea. Apparently I was rather unafraid of improvising back then.

Oh? That certainly sounds interesting. You'll have to tell me if you can work out how to do some of those things!
