Well, there's the obvious extreme difficulty in getting injured, but outside of that my strength and speed both have been greatly enhanced. I don't know where the upper limits are on either, though I know abusing the speed isn't a terribly good idea, it does tire me out.
I could certainly pick you up with no difficulty were I to be so inclined, however. That would be incredibly easy.
There are some things that I still have to work out - I've done things in my memories where I'm not certain how I even got the idea in my head to try them in the first place, much less decided they were a good idea. Apparently I was rather unafraid of improvising back then.
I'll let you know. For now... Well. The thing that's perplexing me at the current moment is why I seemed to have the bizarre reaction of escaping things by way of going straight up? I understand that most things won't be able to follow in that direction, but still...
[It's like a cat? If cats launched themselves thirty-five feet into the goddamn air.]
I don't recall ever breaking anything, actually...
[...You know...]
If I were to ask you to do something to me - something relatively low-risk that I know will be fine, I'm not asking you to shoot me or anything of the sort - would you do it? For demonstration's sake.
Just hit me with something. I guarantee I'll block it before it comes in contact with anything alarming, and I would hope that you trust me enough to know by now that I wouldn't ask you to do anything that would hurt me in any way.
I want you to see this for yourself, here, before you see it in the middle of a fight and it distracts you.
[That's a damn good reason because he knows it'll distract him in a fight. And unlike Wesker, he's not incredibly durable; if he loses focus in a fight it could easily be the end of him. It's for the best, isn't it?
Still, he doesn't like it, and it shows on his face.]
I do trust you, of course... What do you want me to hit you with?
Find something metal; one of the fireplace pokers should work. You're not going to like it, but you'll understand why I don't want you using anything wooden or any sort of proper weapon when we're done.
[He'll stand up as he says it, if only to avoid the awkwardness of the most immediate target being his damn head.]
Swing it at me as hard as possible. Just once. Don't hold back, just trust me. I wouldn't ask you to do anything that has even a chance of hurting me, because I'm not going to put that on you. Do you believe me?
[Jaeger moves to grab one of the pokers then, examining it instead of looking at Wesker.]
...I do.
[Wesker's words are reassuring even if the thing he's being asked to do isn't, but this is ultimately for the best. If they get in a fight and he hesitates...
Well, he's not going to let that happen. So after a moment he nods to himself. He's worked up the courage to actually do it, so it's now or never and "never" isn't really an option as far as he's concerned.]
I'm ready.
[It's the only warning Wesker gets before he swings the damn thing at Wesker's torso as hard as he can. There's no hesitation behind it but dear god please don't make him regret this.]
[There are a few things that are going to become immediately obvious, the first being that Wesker was not exaggerating when he said that his speed has been enhanced, nor was his confidence baseless when he said that Jaeger wouldn't be able to land a hit anywhere alarming. When he moves the motion is both fluid and inhumanly fast, enough to ensure that anything sharp isn't going to connect with his body, though he brings his arm down hard to stop the poker mid-swing even though it's going to miss.
And the goddamn thing just bends.
It isn't anything gentle, either, it isn't like it meets with resistance the way one would expect before either following through or deflecting off. It's like hitting a goddamn wall - the poker stops completely dead, the vibrations running strongly up toward where Jaeger's holding it, the metal bending hard to wrap at a tight angle around his forearm.
There isn't any blood drawn; he doesn't even flinch at the contact. He just...breathes in and pulls away, clearly uninjured and obviously unfazed, and he's smirking a bit as he does so.]
[Jaeger barely registers that Wesker's moved to stop the poker, but suddenly he's hitting something really goddamn hard and all he can really do is stare, both at the bent poker and Wesker's arm like he's having trouble putting two and two together and coming up with four.]
...That's incredible.
[He pulls the poker back to examine where it's bent, then looks to Wesker's arm as if to double check that there's no damage there. He really is remarkably durable, isn't he? He had no reason to doubt Wesker's words before, but seeing it in action...]
No wonder you're so confident that you won't be hurt. That's... I really don't have words for how amazing that is.
It's as I've been telling you - I don't think I can die. Not to anything we have to worry about here, at any rate.
[He still seriously hates the actual undead thing, but this part of it is so fucking cool, Jaeger.]
Just remember that if something happens - if we get separated, or if we get into a fight against something. Nothing can hurt me. Even bullets just break skin, they don't do any actual damage.
And if anything, it feels...good, using my abilities like that. I enjoy it.

[jaeger you know that neither of us has that much impulse control
if we find a building tonight your boyfriend is gonna be up there within the next two minutes
that is how this is going to end]

I'm looking forward to seeing what else you're capable of as well, of course. This one just sounds fun to watch!

we are going to go to the waffle house and then your boyfriend is going to parkour up a seven story building and that's going to be our lives today
happy v-day]
I've mostly remembered doing things like that in fights, if I wanted to establish distance. But it seemed straightforward enough.

Just be careful with it! Even if you'll recover, I doubt breaking your legs would be pleasant.

[God, he seems so pleased with himself.]
It's all like that, you know. The powers I've been able to use so far... They're all like that.
[He usually doesn't sound this excited about anything; either way, he's clearly pleased with this much, as far as the virus goes.]
no subject
Are they really? That's amazing. I'm a bit jealous, honestly!
[It's light, but he's entirely serious about it.]
Thank you for showing me, I think I'll be less worried about you now.
[Fire is still something to look out for, but apparently Wesker can tank physical hits like this. Damn, that really is impressive.]
