I've remembered some of my subordinates a little more lately. That girl in the photograph's name was Rebecca; she was a medic with one of the units I was in charge of.
Unfortunately, that was most of it; I do know that she was in a different unit than Chris, Jill, and Barry were however, so I don't actually know what she was doing on that assignment to begin with.
[Like, seriously, why was she there...]
I've remembered a bit more about Krauser lately as well - that one person that I think I liked well enough. I sent him on an assignment to Spain at one point, apparently.
I believe I mentioned something to you at one point - a parasite that I was interested in. It was called Las Plagas; I believed this cult in Spain to have access to one of the only known natural sources of it.
So I sent Krauser to infiltrate, and to obtain samples for me. It immediately went poorly.
He also apparently decided to steal my parasites, while he was at it; he died at some point, while he was on that mission. I recovered his body and found that he had infected himself with them - again, for some reason.
[...]
I had a rather unfortunate habit of stealing bodies and dissecting them, I've remembered doing that three different times now. But in the end I did get what I wanted, so obviously that's fine.
I was stealing corpses for the sake of retrieving samples of the viruses that they had in them, usually. I did it to Birkin and someone that I don't recognize for that reason. Krauser, I suspect, was similar; I wanted to verify his death for myself and once I had done that, I took the parasite from his body.
...I'm not entirely sure what I was doing with them, granted - whether I wanted them for myself or to sell them to other people. Seeing as I was running a fairly large operation at one point, I must have had contacts that I could sell bioweapons and viruses to; I also wasn't unfamiliar with using them on myself, if my actions with Uroboros and whateve I'm infected with now are any indication. Las Plagas in particular could be used to do terrible things; I know for a fact that I did use them to do a few things that were rather horrific.
I assume Krauser infected himself for the same reason any of us did. The power.
A lot of things were done for power, as best I can tell. Either for the sake of personal power, or the sort of thing that could be held over others. It led to a fair amount of insane things.
I'm glad that it's manageable. Sometimes I wonder if your memories are too difficult to handle, but you always seem fine. You'll come to me if you aren't, ja?
[He might not tell Jaeger, but he can at least rely on Wesker coming to him.]
The more disturbing things I've remembered lately have been terrible on a personal level, as opposed to anything catastrophic. Things like what I did to Jill, or shooting Rebecca simply to prove to Chris that I was willing to. I've remembered doing some hideous things to someone I don't know with Plagas, using the parasites to mutate them in horrible ways.
They're terrible, and in some ways they're more disturbing than what I was trying to do overall because they feel much more personal. But I can rationalize it as only having been one person instead of many. That's repulsive and I know it, but it helps with managing it.

[You seem in a good enough mood, either way...]

[Well, that's interesting, but this sounds even more fascinating.]
What was he doing in Spain?
no subject
Infiltrating a cult, apparently.
no subject
[Where does he even start with that...]
Why did you want him to infiltrate a cult, exactly?

How poorly are we talking...?

I... Okay. What does that have to do with infiltrating a cult? Please tell me he didn't just do that because he could.

Why. Why would he infect himself with parasites. Why were you stealing corpses. Why did any of this happen.
[He is so done. Your world was absolutely ridiculous.]

[Wesker's abilities are incredible, after all. If Plagas works similarly, maybe that would be explanation enough.]
Your world sounds crazy. Almost everyone you've told me about sounds crazy too.
no subject
[Like. Look at literally everything his world decided to be.]

You aren't finding all of this too troubling, are you?
