Some person that I used to know. One of my contacts on the black market; his name was Ricardo Irving. He spoke like he was from...New Jersey? Boston, perhaps... Somewhere with one of those very heavy, distinctive accents, though I can't place exactly where.
I don't recall much else about him. We dealt in Plagas for a while, however.
I'm still troubled by what's been done to me, and I don't like not knowing if there's something worse to come. It's likely that I'm always going to hate them for it on some level.
I think that's really all we can do at this point. I understand, though. Even though it probably isn't something I can really blame them for, I'm still furious about what's been done to me.
[To say nothing of what they've done to Wesker. Honestly, that enrages him even more than the blastia.]
But I'm doing my best to accept it and try to move on. There isn't any changing it.
[He leans into that immediately, as always. It's nice and it's getting him to relax a bit.
Jaeger's not really sure what to say to that, though, and a long moment passes before he speaks. He could talk about how he hates the blastia's appearance, how it's made things so much harder than he ever really expected, or how scared he is by what its presence means physically. Does it actually serve as his heart? Did he die in his sleep, is that why he has it? They're questions he'll probably never get answered, and the uncertainty is almost as terrifying as the questions themselves. Or maybe he could talk about the anger, how he's frustrated with his own situation and beyond pissed on Wesker's behalf; he could complain about how Retrospec's completely changed their lives in ways they could never have predicted - especially because Wesker didn't even know about dying before it happened, but...
But the fight leaves him quickly enough and he sighs, letting his eyes drift shut.]
It comes and goes. Sometimes I forget it's even here.
...And you know I feel the same, ja? What you've been through, what changes you've experienced... none of that has changed how I feel about you.

What did you remember?

[He's fairly sure you'd want pictures of your girls, if nothing else?]
Perhaps one day Retrospec will surprise you; you never know.

[His free hand starts to raise before he forces it back down.]
I assume they don't have much control over that either.
no subject
[...can he just take your hand so you're a little less tempted to do that]

It would be easier to get mad at them for it, but I suppose that won't do any good.

[And that does seem honest enough.]

[His grip tightens on Wesker's hand.]

[...Just...let him shift to play with your hair a bit, okay.]

[It's not quite what he means to say, but it's what he manages; it's not quite affirmation, but it isn't an argument, either.
Just...as long as you're sure.]

[He moves his other hand down so he can take Wesker's in both of his hands.]
Don't ever doubt that, okay? I love you just as much now as I did before. Nothing's going to change that.
