[He sounds amused, though; he's calming down a good amount, anyway, which is likely a good thing.]

[He can't even manage a fake pout though; he really is pleased that Wesker knows him this well.]

Perhaps I like it that way.

[The idea of being able to read someone when most people can't...it's not how things usually are for him, granted, but he does like it.]

Well, maybe I'm not all that opposed to it!

I imagine I'd know it if you were.

Ja, you would! You know me better than anyone else, after all!

[That just gets a quiet noise out of him while he goes back to toying with that pen, glancing down at what he'd been writing earlier, when Jaeger had walked in; for now he's content to set it aside entirely and just let himself relax a bit. This is...nice, it's normal despite everything that's going on, and honestly it's sort of flattering? It's flattering in a way that he's not altogether sure what to do with, so he just kind of...won't, though it's clear that he's pleased with all of this even if he's not saying much of anything at all.]

[It's good that Wesker's calmed down some and the silence feels comfortable. He's content to leave it for a little while, but Jaeger's never been very good at staying quiet. He'll eventually speak up, tipping his head a bit in the direction of Wesker's desk.]

Not the things we've been discussing, per se - more about the people in the memories than the memories themselves.

Oh, something to help organize everything or something along those lines?

More or less. Some people also tend to appear more than others; I like keeping what I've recalled about them reasonably straight.

That makes sense. I haven't written anything down yet, but maybe I should.

To be honest, I'm not sure. But it's not like we have much of a choice, ja? I'll work through it.

[He considers that for a moment; it's something he says a lot himself, the part about not having a choice, but...]

Not having a choice doesn't make it any easier. If anything, it makes it more difficult in some ways, because now handling it is a necessity rather than something that we can simply walk away from if we so choose.

I believe you when you tell me that you'll work through it. But if it becomes overwhelming or you need someone to speak to about all of this, I'll listen.

...Thank you. I really appreciate it. I'll try my best to work through it without having some kind of meltdown, but I suppose I can't really guarantee anything!

[And even though he's back to being flippant about it, Jaeger has relaxed a bit.]

And I can't guarantee I'll know what to do in that sort of situation. But I suppose we'll sort it out if it happens.

Hopefully it won't! I'd prefer not to go through anything like that, obviously!

[He was mostly joking about it but honestly he wouldn't be surprised if his memories were bad enough to cause a breakdown of some kind. He's not regaining the same kinds of memories Wesker is, but he's not nearly as strong as Wesker.]
