It's all right; I've worn them of my own volition before, remember. And I do find the leather practical if there's a chance of getting into some kind of fight - there's far less to grab onto that way.

As I said, I think I was wearing this when I went to fight Sergei in Russia; I don't remember it very much yet, but I know it went well, in the end.
