Of course it isn't. And I don't mind wearing these things from time to time for you, if you really do like them so much.
[...]
As I said, I think I was wearing this when I went to fight Sergei in Russia; I don't remember it very much yet, but I know it went well, in the end.
Chris and Jill were in the area as well, before all that happened... I don't think I ever told you what happened in Russia, did I? About the town we were all in for a little while.
Cursed, apparently. Or at least, that's what I called it. Apparently a large amount of wolves carrying the virus had infected everyone; there wasn't anyone still properly alive - they were all undead by the time I arrived, and not in the same way I am.
[So. Zombies, basically.]
Chris took care of all of them by luring them all into a silo and blowing it up. He nearly killed me in the process, albeit accidentally. Once he found out that I was there he proceeded to interrogate me, because clearly everything happening there was my fault.
[It's dry, but he doesn't sound bothered. More amused than anything, really.]
I told him that I didn't know what was happening, but the town was once a base for Umbrella operatives and I'd come to recover some property of mine. After that I simply...left, I suppose, to go do exactly that. He didn't argue my departure very much, for someone so adamantly insisting that I must be behind everything yet again.
I believe there was some other sort of creature beneath the silo that was...awakened by the explosion; it was likely going to be a larger problem than I was.
It was always for business, never for pleasure; I don't think I would have known how to relax if my life depended on it, so I'm not particularly surprised. I always had to be doing something or other.
I have plenty of places I'd love to visit! Of course the first place I want to take you is Germany, I want you to see where I grew up, and of course you'll have to meet my family...
[That gets him to laugh, though he's not sure he should be laughing at that...]
We don't have to go anywhere you went in your past life if you'd prefer to avoid it. I can certainly understand that! Being able to explore somewhere new with you sounds like a lot of fun, though.
...I only vaguely remember ever being anywhere but Recolle; I've lived in this city almost my entire life, and for what I imagine to be obvious reasons I never had much desire to leave.
Of course. Going somewhere new can be quite terrifying, especially if you're on your own! My family used to travel a lot on vacations, so I suppose I've always been interested in seeing new places!
My father brought me here some time after I was adopted; part of it was for business opportunities in the area, but he also thought I would feel safer here with the low crime rate.
[...He appreciated the gesture, at least.]
It was also a chance for both of us to start over; either way, he was a busy man and I had no inclination to go anywhere, so if we did anything together it was always local.
It was good of him to take you somewhere safe, and it was good that he didn't try to drag you all over the place! I imagine it was still a difficult change, but it really does sound like he was doing his best for you.

But no, I don't think you've told me about what happened in Russia. What was the town like?

[...It was weird.]

I am surprised he just let you leave, though.
[He's also surprised you didn't try to murder him from the sound of it...?]

It really does sound like you traveled all over the world in your past life. I'm a bit jealous!

...Maybe someday I'll get to travel with you!
no subject
Perhaps. I don't know where I would want to go.

I'm not sure if I would ever want to see the places I went in my past life or avoid them entirely, but I would like to see Germany eventually.

[Either way, he understands that. He's honestly glad his past life existed in a completely different world.]
Germany's wonderful, though! I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

[...Wesker.]
I'm sure I will as well, however.

I'm really happy you think so. I know I can be a little... grating at times... So it's really nice to hear. Thank you, Albert.
