You know, it didn't occur to me until just now that that's fundamentally strange, actually.

Do you happen to know if the person whose memories you're seeing has the same name as you?

Oh, yes, he does! He goes by "Jaeger", at least. I don't know if that's his real name or not.

[He knows for a fact about the surname, but he has to consider for a brief moment on the given name...but yes, Excella called him "Albert" constantly, so - ]

He is, but that wasn't his name from birth - it was the name given to him by the old man. All of the children he was using had that particular surname; I don't know what determined the given names, but 'Albert' was mine.

...I just find it odd that both he and I would be named that specific thing, given that in both circumstances it was an arbitrary name handed out by a third party.

...I believe it was "Wesker," almost exclusively. I don't think he knew anything about what the old man was talking about until he was told, so there was no need to distance himself from it.

Oh absolutely; no-context warmongering is a lot easier to deal with than something like that, I'm sure! Though I admittedly haven't really processed it yet. It's still a bit much.
