...It was, yes. I enjoyed it quite a bit back then, from what I recall.

I'm not surprised. I enjoyed the one fight I remember quite a bit!

What was it like?

[Huh.]

I was fighting against four people - a young man, a young woman, and two kids - and I had three oddly-dressed men with me. I believe I was giving them orders, but they didn't last very long against the enemies. There was magic involved and plenty of impressive, strange moves and overall the experience was enjoyable! They won, but I wasn't trying very hard.

It sounds interesting, at any rate. Unbelievable, but enjoyable.

Precisely! It was fun, but absolutely unbelievable. I'd probably consider it the best memory I've received so far!

...I am still not sure why I was so unconcerned about where that went.

My coworker just picked up and walked off with a giant leech and I was entirely unconcerned with this turn of events.

Somehow I am currently less bothered by the murder than I am with that.

That really is the most bizarre thing. I have no idea why you'd be fine with this turn of events, but maybe you'll receive a memory that will help explain things a bit? I'm not sure what could explain that, though.

Again, I'm fairly sure it was a part of someone's research, so there is that much... At the same time, I also don't recall ever seeing anything that could have come of research like that.

It sounds absolutely bizarre. I wonder what they'd have to be researching to create something like that...

...I think I have some idea, but I can't be entirely certain.

Perhaps I'll discuss it with you eventually. I haven't been avoiding it due to a lack of desire to tell you, but rather because I want to be sure before I bring it up to you.

I do feel as though I'm getting closer to them, to be honest. I may not always care for them, but knowing is better than being kept in the dark.

I'm beginning to think you're right. As much as I may not like it, I can't ignore all of this forever. I'll need some answers too, someday. I hope I'll be ready when I get them.

Well, I am a bit of a disaster and I'm not very good at dealing with difficult things like this. Not that I'm saying I won't be able to handle whatever I'm stuck dealing with, but I am a bit nervous that I'll have trouble with it.
