Other than "a lot," not really. She tended to stockpile a lot and then sleep for months or years, even. As long as she wasn't stimulated, she wouldn't bother.
I can't imagine wanting to sleep for that long. Of course I'm looking at it from a very human perspective, but sealing yourself away like that... I can't say I see any appeal in it.
To be honest, even feeling what she felt I'm not entirely sure I get it, but if I had to put a word on it, I think it's that she got bored. She basically only ever interacted with her family, didn't seem to have any friends outside of them, so if nothing was going on, then just pop to sleep for a while.
I suppose I can understand that. My past life certainly seemed to be bored all the time, though he was the sort of person who made more work for himself when he was bored.
A big part of it was probably waking up and being around her husband whenever she was. Also getting up and hunting out some blood for James. Pretty cyclical - but the longest sleep I've recalled her daughter in law made longer.
