[It's not self-deprecating at all, though; just a statement.]

That's certainly true, you've always believed that, even when I didn't. I appreciate it, it really does mean so much to me.

I know. And you always do such a good job of it! You always help me when I'm feeling upset and you always find some way to calm me down when I need it. I really don't know what I'd do without you, Albert.

I do think you would find some way to manage. But I also don't intend for you to have to find out anytime soon.
