week 2; post-trial
[So that sure was a thing! It wasn't a thing Yeager gives much of a fuck about, honestly, but he does have some questions for a certain someone.
Top Dollar will find a note under his door, written in Yeager's elegant handwriting.]
I have something I wish to discuss with you. Room #230.
-Y
[It's short and to the point. Yeager's locked the door, so you'll have to knock.]

That said, though, he's not going to completely ignore the summons from Yeager, either; he has to admit curiosity about whatever it is Yeager wants, at the very least.
So, he'll be there; it may take a while, but yeah.]
no subject
Ah, come in!
[And once Top Dollar's inside and the door's shut:] I was beginning to think I'd gotten the wrong room!
[...not really.]
no subject
That said, though, he's not going to sit down anywhere or anything; he's actually going to stay reasonably close to the door, leaning back against the wall. He seems casual enough, legs crossed idly at the ankle, though eye contact isn't going to be a thing - that involves a bit too much focus for his liking right now, and judging by the way he can't stop fidgeting with them, at the moment his gloves are fascinating.]
What can I say, I'm a busy guy. This about business, or were you just missing my company that much?
no subject
[He's smirking as he says it and he moves back over to the desk to flip through the notes there. He needs something to do with his hands as well and he's never liked fidgeting. This at least makes him look like he's doing something Important.]
I suppose we'll get right to it, then! Were you investigating that young man's room?
no subject
[He knows damn well what you're talking about.]
Why're you asking?
no subject
[He shrugs after a moment though, just in case it wasn't already blatantly obvious that he doesn't give a single fuck about Top Dollar concealing evidence (thanks for last week, buddy).]
I'm just curious! I almost got my hopes up that it would be one of our cannibals!
[...HOW MANY OF THEM ARE THERE]
no subject
[He'll reach into his inside jacket pocket, the same place that he usually keeps his photo of Myca; he holds out a few pictures in Yeager's direction, smirking a bit as he does so. An invitation to take them, should he be interested in doing so.]
no subject
no subject
So yeah, he fucking knew about Keenan from the start.]
no subject
[That was probably an entertaining trial! How lucky for you!!]
Why did you choose to protect him? Were you fond of him?
no subject

[FREE US FROM CANNIBAL HELL]
It's unfortunate that we didn't succeed, but perhaps next week!
no subject
[He'll be taking back and pocketing those photos again, if you don't mind.]
Keeping shit like this from people doesn't mean I give a fuck about whoever I'm doing it for. Depends on what's at stake that week.
But then, I get the feeling that I'm not playing the same game everyone else is.
no subject
[Seriously, who even cared about the Grinch?? Why work on actually solving his murder when they could get rid of a threat?? Everyone was sad about Keenan too, but they could have voted out a threat!! It just doesn't make sense to him.]
Maybe they haven't worked out that they shouldn't be playing the game that way. Perhaps next week they'll figure it out.
no subject
Good to know you're thinking the same way; otherwise I might have to start thinking that I've finally lost it.
no subject
[...WELL.]
no subject
You are such an asshole.
no subject
[it's pretty obvious from the profile alone, tbh]
no subject
no subject
[Actually...]
Hmm, while we're at it I should probably let you know that I would prefer it if nothing happened to a few... acquaintances of mine.
[That's not exactly the best word for them, but whatever. What the hell else do you call the guy who fucked with your plans but you kind of need him alive to save the world??]
Duke and Yuri. If they've made an obvious mess of things then they're on their own, but I'd prefer to keep them alive if possible.
no subject
Father Kevin and Shelley Winters are the ones I don't want touched. I've got a few more that I'm looking out for when I can, but they're lower-priority and entirely my problem. Kevin and Shelley need to be kept out of it, though.

[................]
...Hazama's a fuckin' mess, by the way.
no subject
no subject
He lost me at about the point where he told me he was thirteen, so...
no subject
Well of course he's thirteen! Why wouldn't he be?
[WHY. WHY CAN'T HE BEFRIEND NORMAL PEOPLE.]
no subject
no subject
Well, that probably explains a lot about him, actually. Still... it would have been nice to know that.
[...]
Actually, no, it wouldn't. I wish I could forget it.
[THIS JUST KEEPS HAPPENING]
no subject
Not all if it's the weirdest thing I've ever heard, just shit I'd prefer not to know.
no subject
[THAT'S BURYING THE BAR AND STEPPING OVER IT BUT YOU KNOW WHAT, HERE WE ARE]

[...]
...Apparently he just really likes eggs.
no subject
no subject
[HE REALLY LIKES HAZAMA A LOT, YOU CAN TELL BY HIS TONE, BUT.]
no subject
[Also there was his other roommate, but she's dead now so who cares!!]
no subject
[Says the guy who got roomed with Shingo on the first go-round.
That said, though...]
...So how about the Yuri guy, 'cause I don't know him - do you think you can stand working with him for more than five minutes?
[He's going somewhere with this.]
no subject
["It's Complicated" is the best summation of Yeager's feelings on Yuri.]
no subject
I'm pretty sure he's not too happy about the experiment, either.
[IF. YOU GET. HIS DRIFT.]
no subject
[Like Yeager's plans. Or people. Also hopefully Alexei's face.]
If our goals align I have no doubts that I can work with him. He may be a bit less open to the idea, but I'm sure he'll do it for the greater good or something silly like that.

no subject
[...it made a lot more sense in canon.]

[...terca lumireis is being represented by yuri, duke, and yeager. everyone else is (probably) not that insane.]
