Plenty. Enforcers get paid a pretty penny, and I take care of whatever that hunting guild asks me to. I'll give you... eh, I'll give you a quarter of whatever the house's worth, how's that.
Don't worry about it, I'll get you the money no matter how much it ends up being. But if it ends up being cheaper just to buy some land and get materials myself, I can build one, so I'll cut you a quarter of that too.
[... SO EITHER GET HER A REALLY EXPENSIVE HOUSE OR A NICE PIECE OF LAND THANKS YEAGER XOXO SHE DOESN'T DEAL WITH MONEY MATTERS]
And it's fun! The people there are all kinds of characters -- not unlike what I've got going on back home, both in Dalsnes and on the mission I'm vacationing from! Mousy's my favorite, of course, and we get to work together a fair bit since we're both negotiator-people, but seriously you should see the kinds of people there! Bunch of misfits.
[They have a fox! They had a skeleton! There's Ewan McGregor!
It's clear that Sigrun likes working with the Enforcers, look at her grin!!]
More than that, though, [and she seems almost sheepish, glancing away a moment and then looking down at the cat crawling into her lap,] it's pretty much the big thing that's keeping my feet on the ground? I mean, I'm a military woman, it's nice to have that kind of structure. You know?
Ja, I understand! I've worked with military-types in the past, though the closest equivalent we have is the Knights and they're... Well, they're more about bloodlines and prestige than they are about genuinely helping people. I am a bit biased against them, however!
[For many reasons. You try working with Cumore for awhile, it's fucking awful.]
The Enforcers don't sound like that though, which is certainly nice.
Oh, no, you can definitely trust us to get shit done! Especially me! I wouldn't be part of it if it wasn't filled to the brim with good people!
[... Who, unbeknownst to her, are mostly murderers or have inner demons. Sometimes literally. They're good people!!]
Don't suppose you're wanting to join up too? We could always use more smooth-talkers. There's only a handful of us working negotiations, including myself.
Fine, fine, but the offer's always open! I'll even make sure we get cases together! You, me, and mousy. He's great with paperwork! Loves doing it! Never has a single complaint about it, which is half the reason we get along so well!
His name's Black. It's probably not his real name, but I've heard kids named Gold, Silver, Red... so, you know, maybe. His sister's name is White.
[... She's Aware.]
He's the greatest kid ever! And my senior officer! Kind of, by experience. So I listen to him a lot! Except when he's wrong! Which is a lot of the time, you'd be surprised!
Oh, I'm familiar with White! It's good to see kids that age get into business and do well for themselves with it!
[He hasn't spoken with Black before, but Sigrun's obviously got some kind of taste if she's hanging out with Yeager, so!! Clearly that's something he should look into.]
It sounds like you two make an interesting team! I'm a bit curious about how you two work together while on the job.
[... How does this guy know Black's sister-- no, that's not important, of course he's familiar with her somehow, who isn't at this point. She has that. Thing she does. Yeah. And other stuff. Whatever.]
I give him an idea, he tells me if it's good or not, and then I decide if he's right or wrong. For example, we had a job where we went to find a cat and the little thing was on the roof, so I climbed up there with it and told him I'd scare it off to him.
[A pause.]
He considered this a bad idea.
[Another pause.]
I decided to do it anyway and it turned out fine. It's basically that kinda thing, except you switch round stuff as needed. We're a great team! And then he writes up all the reports because I don't like to do it.
Missing persons that're usually just kids and older people who've gotten turned around, taking care of public disturbances because of... you know, emotions and stuff. Not that you'd know, I guess. That part. Since you're pretty in control of what ones you have.
[............... ANYWAY,]
We caught a cookie thief once! Sent the little guy off on his way with a saucer of milk. I don't know where he is now, but... guess that's just how the cookie crumbles when it comes to mice.
[SHE KNOWS WHAT YOU'RE SAYING AND SHE DOES NOT APPRECIATE YOU MAKING FUN OF HER SMALL TIME JOBS!!!!]
Not a bit like it! There's way less killing and... a lot more contact with people? I'm used to being around people, sure, but this many?
[nnnnnnope!!]
Pretty sure there's more people in this city than there is across what's left of my world! And this kinda work's more like what you see in places that don't deal with the military, I think, but it's not so bad. I miss going out with a group and hunting down giants, yeah, but I like this too. It's got a nice feeling to it.

[THIS IS NOT A CRAFT SHE IS NOT GOING TO PAY HIM OUT THE ASS FOR THIS but she is curious.]

The Enforcers though... How do you like working for them?
