[There are worse ways to spend Thursday evenings; Alexei had meant what he said to Yuri, in that he believes entirely that this sort of gathering is needed by most of the group and honestly, at this point he's sort of partial to them. That...doesn't change the fact that everyone is So Much at these sorts of parties; everyone ends up some kind of intoxicated and saying way too much, and Suga keeps trying to touch him and Jack is dressed like he would have a lot to discuss with Cumore, and it's just... He wants to be outside. Not for the entire rest of the night, just for a while, and the evening finds him pacing near the general area of the tower.
He isn't going to go up there, because that seems like...not the best idea he's ever had? But he's wandering the distance between there and the parlor when Yeager comes to join him.]
...I didn't expect you to be out here.
[He knows he told Yeager that he wanted to talk, but that was with the general understanding of "eventually" and a...lack of foreknowledge that we're all going to be knocked out in like an hour, oops.]
[It's not difficult to notice that Alexei's left, and honestly, Yeager could use the break as well. While he's hardly the sort who needs to be away from gatherings, he's still not exactly doing great after last weekend and there's only so long he can fake it until he gets tired. So since Alexei did want to discuss something, finding him is easy enough.]
I needed a break, and I figured we might as well talk now, ja?
[Come on, let's just. wander around for a while so we're not just standing around. Maybe we'll find something to do with ourselves. ...That doesn't involve gross amounts of gelato, he is not going in the gelato place.]
I wanted to hear your thoughts on leaving this place, should we be permitted to do so. What you plan on doing from here.
To be perfectly honest, I haven't given it much thought. I want to believe we'll make it out of here and be able to return home... But I don't want to plan on it in case that isn't possible.
[In case we die here or end up stuck here or something. But with that said...]
At this point, the only thing I want to do is go back and take a very long nap.
[That's not exactly it, but returning home to the Manor of the Wicked and being someplace safe with people he trusts sounds like an excellent idea. He can let his guard down, he can see the people who willingly follow him again, and he can finally let Gauche and Droite into the goddamn house.]
It's something the others have been discussing with me as though it's a certainty and not just a distant possibility. You already know my own plans upon return, should it come to that.
Suga was...doing as he usually does. Discussing plans for the future, wanting all of us to see one another again after all of this is over. It was at a bad time for me.
[He doesn't regret having said it, exactly, but then he doesn't regret much.]
Raven also seemed... [how the fuck do you even word this] ...rather bothered, to put it lightly, about the notion that we would all return to the varying times that we came from. He discussed it with me a few times; I told him that since I'm the furthest out, I would certainly remember either of you behaving strangely if we all returned to the same timeline, and since I remember nothing of the sort I found it highly unlikely that we all come from the same world.
[Are you following him so far, because he hates this divergent timeline bullshit, it gives him a fucking headache.]
[He inclines his head a bit as he considers it, but given the expression, he can follow even if he doesn't like thinking about it.]
I see, so our world must be different, otherwise the timeline wouldn't make sense. It's easier to see them being separate versions of Terca Lumireis anyway, even if they do seem identical.
[Timeline bullshit.....]
Given that both of us would have had a very noticeable reaction to returning home after being here, I think it's safe to agree with that, ja.
[Raven might have tried to talk at you and Yeager would've just gone for the headshot, so different worlds works!!]
[...So do you want to hear the crazy thought, because you're about to hear the crazy thought.]
The cleanest way I can think of to resolve all of this with all three of us having intact memories would be to return to the earliest possible divergence - that is, where Raven came from - and ensure that things run favorably from there.
Granted, that might create some sort of unfortunate incident where there are multiple iterations of the same person present in that timeline, but in that case eliminating the other should prove simple enough.
[...This is the craziest damn thing he's ever heard. There is no denying that this is the craziest damn thing he's ever heard. But is that going to stop him from agreeing? Hell no.]
That is an interesting solution - and one I'm certainly fine with! I'm sure we could replace and dispose of those extras easily enough~
[Raven is the only one of us pretending to be halfway sane and without him we're left with this mess.]
Certainly~ I do hope that things turn out better than I'm expecting and we can put your plan into action - I'm obviously willing to work with you to ensure the best possible outcome there.
[Anything else is definitely up in the air, but a smooth transition back to Terca Lumireis before everything started going south in a hurry sounds great, actually.]
...I do wonder exactly how things would turn out in a world like that, though.
[It would be, but let's be honest, upon first arriving here would you have put something like that past him...]
I doubt any of the others would appreciate me having the audacity to discuss murder in front of them. But this is the most thorough way I can think of to resolve everything on our end and not have as many unfortunate ramifications.
No, of course it won't. There's still quite a lot we'll have to deal with. But I must admit, I'm rather fond of this start!
[Partially because it involves murder, but partially because... well, it means undoing a lot of the things he did. He can't say he regrets any of it, really, but he wouldn't mind a second chance.]
I don't think enough of my plans have been put into action yet that they can't be stopped; I imagine I'm going to confuse a few people, but it shouldn't be too terrible of an upheaval.
I'm sure you can find a way to make that work, anyway.
[It won't be a problem for Yeager because he's always weird and no one knows what he's thinking!!!]
I'm sure we'll need to discuss this again later, once we know exactly what we're looking at and how likely it is we'll be able to pull something like this off. I'll be looking forward to it~
I didn't tell him anything he needed to know, so I see no reason to start now.
[Sometimes Raven dragged some stuff out of him, but it was almost entirely personal and not about business, because sometimes you need to keep your deeply complicated past separate from your work.]
So I'm perfectly fine not telling him that part of the plan~

Ja, I do. Suga mentioned he'd spoken with you about that as well.
[Which is another mess and a half, considering all of Suga's plans for the future.]
I suppose I envy their optimism... But I wonder how exactly that would work for us.
[The three of them, since if everything goes as well as the group seems to be assuming, then the deceased aren't really dead and they'll be restored.]

[...This is why we need Raven here. He keeps us from plotting things like this.]
Again, this assumes that any number of unpredictable things happen to fall in our favor, and we don't all die horribly tomorrow.
But it's a solution I'm willing to consider for the issue at hand once we've resolved all of that.

I'm willing to live with the plan not being terribly sane otherwise. Apparently not many of my plans are.
