YEAGER ♛ AGE: 34 ♛ HEIGHT: 6'0" ♛ SCARS: There are a few under his clothes, but like hell if he's letting anyone see them. ♛ TATTOOS: None. ♛ APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION: Yeager's appearance can be found here! He's a rather tall, well-dressed man (as well-dressed as you can get in Vesperia, anyway) and his appearance is always incredibly important to him. He's actually pretty scrawny beneath the clothes, but he's still able to wield a scythe that's bigger than he is because jrpgs, I guess. He's also not going to let anyone see him in anything less than his full outfit, both because he's picky like that and because he's got something to hide. For reference, his hair is a dark purpleish color; a lot of my icons depict plenty of other colors, so I figured I'd clarify. ♛ CHANGES IN GAME: N/A ♛ DEMEANOR: Yeager carries himself well, he doesn't slouch or have bad posture at all, and he's the sort of person who looks like he's gliding everywhere instead of walking. He's surprisingly graceful despite his attitude and voice and he's prone to laying a hand on his chest as he speaks, like he's being sincere. He probably isn't. He lies as easily as he breathes and it's hard to tell when he's being sincere. (He probably isn't.) ♛ VOICE: Yeager is voiced by Spike Spencer and he has the most annoying German accent you can imagine. He absolutely plays up the accent and he finds it funny when people can't understand him. His guild is named "Leviathan's Claw" and he can't pronounce it properly and that's wonderful to him. His sense of humor is terrible. Speaking of that, he's capable of dropping the accent entirely while he's posing as Regaey (yes, it is just his name backwards, I'm sorry he's like this) but for the most part he'll sound exactly this annoying. PERMISSIONS ♛ BACKTAGGING: I'm fine with backtagging but I'm kind of bad at keeping up with it. If there's something you'd like to continue please let me know and I'll get on it! ♛ FOURTHWALLING: I'd prefer to avoid this. ♛ OOC OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: I'm good with pretty much anything, just make sure to warn for it! ♛ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Yeager is absolutely not here for physical affection. If he decides he wants to initiate it, it's fine, but it would only be something brief. He absolutely does not do hugs and he avoids most physical affection like the plague. With that said, I am 100% here for it, so if you want to go for it then please do, but he'll probably be kind of irritated with the attempt. ♛ FLIRTING: Go for it, Yeager's always here for flirting. He has no interest in anything serious, however. ♛ RELATIONSHIPS: Yeager is absolutely opposed to anything serious. He may or may not still be messed up from his girlfriend dying ten years ago, but surely that's not important and he'll never mention it!! I'm definitely here for ships if things go that direction, but Yeager has a lot of baggage and things to work through and the likelihood of that happening is pretty low. ♛ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Absolutely! Yeager is a jrpg boss, so he can definitely hold his own in battle and take hits extremely well. Talk to me so we can work out how this is going to go! I'm also sort of bad at playing these things out, so I don't mind handwaving fights if you'd prefer! ♛ INJURIES: I'm fine messing Yeager up, but let's discuss these first! ♛ DEATH: Once again, let's discuss this! I'd be surprised if Yeager somehow didn't die at some point, tbh. ♛ MINDREADING: Please talk to me about this first! Yeager has no way to prevent anything like this, but do you really want to see what's going on in his head??? You're probably better off not knowing. ♛ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Yeager is a normal human, for the most part. If you're able to sense magic or power sources or something like that, you'll probably notice that there's something very powerful in the center of his chest. It might be magic? Or maybe it's just some kind of advanced technology. Ask me for more details if this is something your character can do! ♛ MEDICAL INFORMATION: Once again, Yeager seems to be a normal human. He's remarkably durable, even for a jrpg boss, but he doesn't have any accelerated healing or anything like that. He has a blastia hidden beneath his clothes - it's basically a replacement heart that brought him back to life so he's. kind of a lich. He will not let anyone see this if he can avoid it, and he won't let people get close enough to realize that there's something weird on his chest. But it'll probably come up at some point, so! ♛ IC OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: There isn't anything that will make Yeager ditch a conversation or have much of a reaction, but he's really not fond of child abuse or threatening to harm kids. (Because Vesperia is weird, "kids" in this case basically means anyone younger than a teenager; he is totally fine beating up a 13 year old in game.) The big one here is necromancy or otherwise bringing the dead back to life. It won't really get much of a reaction out of him besides [internal screaming] but boy is he not fond of that!! I'm not opposed to having him discuss either of these, however! So go for it if it comes up! POWERS ♛ FIGHTING STYLE: Yeager is a jrpg boss character, so he is naturally exceptionally skilled at fighting. Most characters in Vesperia focus on a couple of weapons to fight with, but Yeager clearly decided that wasn't enough and uses four different types of weapons, all combined into one incredibly dumb one! Because of course he does, he's exactly that extra. Yeager can fight unarmed but he's not very good at it, but give him any weapon and he'll probably be able to figure it out with enough practice. It's worth noting that all of Yeager's abilities are based on physical attacks, he has no magic whatsoever. Full information on his fighting style is located in his app. (This link shows what's being nerfed as well!) ♛ YEAGER'S WEAPON: Yeager's weapon is part-scythe, rifle, crossbow, sword, and shield, with the ability to fold up into a briefcase for easy carrying. The scythe and rifle forms are larger than he is tall, and he still has no problems using them. It is an absolutely ridiculous weapon. He can handle every single form easily and transform between them at will for use during his artes. He's also arriving in game with a secondary weapon, a bow that can turn into a knife because he's extra. He can use the bow as well, but he will always default to using his ridiculous five-in-one weapon first. WARNINGS ♛ SUICIDE: It is not likely to come up with most people, but Yeager did ultimately choose to go all out in his fight against the party, effectively letting a group of young adults and teenagers kill him. If it does come up somehow, he's likely to be very flippant about it and not take it seriously at all. Again, the chances of him actually talking about this are very slim, but I understand if you want to avoid this entirely! ♛ SUICIDAL IDEATION: Yeager is not suicidal, but ultimately he decided that dying would be preferable to remaining alive. This was due to very canon-specific circumstances (being threatened to work for someone and being brought back from the dead warping his world view certainly didn't help) but it is possible he'll be flippant about this sort of thing as well. Once again, this is not likely to come up in conversation unless he knows someone really well and they're already aware of how he died (the second time). ♛ WARMONGERING: And now we get into the "damn he's an asshole" portion of this. Yeager has made a business out of supplying weapons and blastia to both the Empire and the guilds, two opposing factions who are on the brink of war. He definitely would like to start a war, for profit. That's his entire reasoning. He also goes out of his way to try to instigate war between the guilds in order to get the leader of the guilds killed - this works, though ultimately war doesn't break out. It isn't something he's likely to do here, but Yeager is a terrible person. ♛ MANIPULATION: As mentioned above, he goes out of his way to get one man killed and is perfectly happy using everyone around him to achieve his own ends. He's an asshole and he will absolutely manipulate anyone he can to get whatever he wants. The scope of what he can do is obviously limited here, so this isn't as much of a worry, but it is still something he'll do if he can.
