manufactured: (012. there is a dream inside a dream)

[There are a few things that are going to become immediately obvious, the first being that Wesker was not exaggerating when he said that his speed has been enhanced, nor was his confidence baseless when he said that Jaeger wouldn't be able to land a hit anywhere alarming. When he moves the motion is both fluid and inhumanly fast, enough to ensure that anything sharp isn't going to connect with his body, though he brings his arm down hard to stop the poker mid-swing even though it's going to miss.

And the goddamn thing just bends.

It isn't anything gentle, either, it isn't like it meets with resistance the way one would expect before either following through or deflecting off. It's like hitting a goddamn wall - the poker stops completely dead, the vibrations running strongly up toward where Jaeger's holding it, the metal bending hard to wrap at a tight angle around his forearm.

There isn't any blood drawn; he doesn't even flinch at the contact. He just...breathes in and pulls away, clearly uninjured and obviously unfazed, and he's smirking a bit as he does so.]

I can assure you that I hardly even felt that.
