The most that came before it was him speaking to me, as I told you, and then I killed him. I was holding him up and against me when he died, and after I was finished with him I let his body drop to the floor.

That was-

[He cuts off abruptly at that; he's quiet for a moment again.]

I said something to him, as he died.

He had been talking to me about how he had wanted to become God. That was what upset me - and as I killed him, I told him that any right he may have had to become God was now mine.

[For what it's worth, his tone implies that he is fully aware that that is nowhere near a normal thing to say to someone, much less while you're killing them.]

Murdering someone, declaring myself God, I don't know why I would have - ...Do you at least see what I mean when I say it doesn't strike me as anything I would do normally, all of that is insane.
