I was adopted by someone who liked my aptitude. I had a tendency to score well on tests, not that that was particularly difficult.

So my potential was high and I was well-skilled in remaining quiet and out of the way. Ideal for some people, really.

It went smoothly enough. As I said, we weren't close, but I'm appreciative.
